Melvian World

Melvian World is a tiny community created for a couple critters to hang out in a place away from mainstream platforms like Discord.

This place partly centers around its owner Melvian, but generally touches on topics like art and permacomputing.

Rules

This list of rules applies to both the chatting platform and the Minecraft server. If you break any of these rules and are banned, you will be banned from both places even if you broke a rule specific to the Minecraft server.

  1. This place is 18+ only.
  2. This place is SFW only. Any sort of NSFW content will be a bannable offense. This is intended to be a safe space for sex-repulsed, asexual and aromantic people.
  3. Please respect each others' perspectives and identities. Don't be a bigot, a queerphobe, racist, sexist, etc. Do not dox or harass.
  4. Swearing is generally fine, though limit it and don't overuse them. Absolutely no slurs of any kind.
  5. Do not be elitist. There are no stupid questions. Be respectful of each others' backgrounds and worldviews, and do your best to be helpful when others need it.
  6. Feel free to talk about your own projects as long as you are not making a profit from them.
  7. Disagreements and debates are fine, but please be careful how you handle them. Assume good faith. End the discussion if it isn't going anywhere.
  8. I strongly encourage everyone to limit complaining about things unless they can also suggest a solution. Also, please don't trauma dump.
  9. If I find out that you treat others poorly even outside of this community, you will be banned.
  10. If I sense that you are trying to make me or anyone on here intentionally uncomfortable for any reason, you will be banned. I'm hoping that I won't have to pull this card but if I adhere strictly to the rules, someone will always find a way to skirt around them. Please don't be that kind of critter!
  11. These rules are subject to change as this community evolves. I will inform you all when changes are made.
  12. Most importantly, have fun! Be silly, even :P
The Minecraft server requires everyone to follow the above rules, as well as these additional rules:
  1. No griefing or stealing items.
  2. Do not build anything NSFW.
  3. Do not record or take screenshots of the server without consent from all of the players involved.
